The Livingston County Community is Honored to Host
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE TRAVELING MEMORIALS
at the Livingston County Spencer J Hardy Airport
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to so many people throughout Livingston County and the surrounding communities who have helped us make the extaordinary event possible. We need to make a special mention and thank you to the Livingston County Board of Commissioners and the Livingston County Airport Authority, for understanding the educational and historical importance of bringing together these memorials to the Livingston County community.
This has been a memorable journey as we have made countless new acquaintances along the way. Many of those special acquaintances we were most fortunate to make were the Veterans and members of their families. Every service member and their families have a story and the ones they shared have made an everlasting impact.
Additionally, we would like to thank everyone involved as well as the cities of Brighton and Howell who participated in the impressive Escort. Special Thank You to Splash Universe of Dundee for allowing us to stage the Escort, to the Livingston County Sheriff’s department along with the Michigan State Police for the coordination of the Escort security for all involved and insuring their safety and that of all the memorials to its destination.
To our volunteers it would be impossible to list everyone who helped with this endeavor but please know it is acknowledged and is greatly appreciated.
